All things in life come to an end, including the good ones like the YEPI project that was made possible by Mastercard. The YEPI project opened paNhari to possibilities which rarely imagined as possible. Through the support of the MasterCard Foundation, we were able to change the lives of many young people and many communities.

The YEPI journey was one full of adventure both for us and for the participants we worked with. Together we discovered a whole universe of possibilities and unearthed many profound lessons.  As a program, we experienced the beauty of running a program which was not only results driven, but relationship oriented. The participants we trained have continue raising the paNhari brand high, in the spirit of responsibility rather than obligation. The transformation paNhari inspired during these 3 years was not a once off event, but a legacy that will continue disrupting generations to come in radical ways. paNhari is also forever grateful to the YEPI 8 Community of Practice for being a support system.

We can safely say we had the “best of 8 worlds” through this experience! It is through the shared learnings from the unique sites that we were able to sail through the challenges that came with this great work. We approach the end of the first YEPI project with pride, knowing we all contributed to making the world a better place in our own special ways. The spirit of being one community of practice will continue to exist amongst us as we work to carry forward the disruptive movement we were a part of building. Because of the amazing YEPI journey, we will continue discovering new ways of being the change we want to see!
